Tough Times
----------------

Hey finally back after quite a long while. So far 2007 has been alright but it certainly isn't for me at school. Tests approaching and the need to get a high grade is at stake. Have to do a project about Airline Reservation System using the java program, Dreamweaver and I have a written exam on 12 march, an important one if I wanna improve on my GPA. Guess I have to start working hard right now if I wanna get good grades.

Exams and school aside, it has been alright. Haha, been playing basketball for a week or so and I must say its very physical but also fun(not when you get injuries though). We'll get into 3 or 4 teams of 2 and we'll play like a league in which the team which scores 3 points wins and the next team comes in. Haha, most of the time the person who partners Desmond will be quite lucky as he has the height and you just have to pass to him to score and win. Well, now we're sort of getting back to playing soccer again as we did yesterday.

Theres this new funfair near my aunt's house in Hougang and the rides there look exciting, not like those small rides in the past. They have this ferris wheel which is exactly like those you could find in Europe, those high ones. They also have this ride called the Vortex. Its like riding in a wind mill and its really fast, lol Kevin took the ride and he said it was rather exiciting and he wants me to try it out, don't know if I will , lol.

Well, I'll just have to see how it goes at school, really gotta be focused in my studies this time. I'll end here for now and hopefully will be back with another post soon.

A New Year

Well, have not been blogging for a very long time, just thought that I should at least post one for the new year lol. New Years day was fun, celebrated my birthday with my family and friends. My cousins birthday is the same as mine so its like a double celebration. Alot of things have happened for 2006 and hopefully 2007 will be a year twice as better or more. Well I got the phone I've wanted for quite a while and that is the Nokia 5300. Well, I think its sort of a step up for me if I were to compare it with my 6230i cos the screen is bigger and the camera is a little better and not to mention the sound quality, its LOUD, lol.

To be honest, I don't really feel happy right now because the O level results are closing in and I don't know how it will be like. I just wish that it'll be much better than last time. Now I'm just sitting at home being bored, lol even studied a little. I just can't wait for school to start actually, wanna get it over with and just study more and get better grades.

These past few days has been okay, played cards and soccer with friends and hang out too. Well, I've noticed that I've been coming home late for the past few days and I think I better stop that because my mum's at home early from work most of the time and well, she'll be alone at home. Come to think of it, I think I've got to spend more time with my family than friends so that it could be more balanced.

Finally Over!

Just breathed out a sigh of relief, finally the damn exams are over. Had my Literature paper just now at 8am and it was okay ( been saying that for almost every paper except English), answered the questions the best way I could. Hopefully I could pass. Well, now thats over, only the Science multiple choice paper is left, but other than that, everything's over. Right now, instead of having some sort of holiday break, I have to go back to school! damn, and soon, the ITE exams are coming and I've been absent from school for like 2 weeks or so. Lol, well, should be alright. Okay!,won't be talking about O's anymore and I'd like to keep that at the back of my mind now.

Could feel the wind blowing over my head, lol my hair is short now, just went to the barber yesterday. Wanted to have that kinda hairstyle like Justin Timberlake or somethin, lol, but I don't know if my hairstyle is similar now. Hmm, wonder what to do later, at the moment I'm free in a way, lol, okay, just heard my mum from far telling me to wash my shoes later. Feel like playing pool right now, but nobody's free right now I guess, maybe there's Cheeks (Dalvin) but he's having his exam this friday. Played soccer yesterday after like 2 weeks and boy was it tiring, just 5 minutes and I'm panting, lol scored some goals yesterday so maybe it wasn't so bad.

Oh ya!, my goodness, Liverpool lost yesterday at the Emirates Stadium to Arsenal. Liverpool were off to a decent start, having some possesion of the ball but nothing really came at the end of attacks and sooner or later, Arsenal started their passing game which I admit was brilliant. Well, Liverpool were hammered 3-0, huge upset, but they somehow seemed to play a little better than the last time they played away. Simple mistakes just cost Liverpool dearly I guess, like the Gallas goal, he was totally unmarked and had a free header on goal. I'd like to see Steven Gerrard get more involved in big games, it always seems like he's not playing or something, barely saw him making his runs. Oh well, I'll just end here for now, gonna get something to read to kill off the boredom, I'll write again soon.

Just a few days to the O's

Could hear the children in the child care centre singing happy birthday below my block lol, nice. Well, back to blogging, haven't posted in a while. hmm Maths exam on the 6th of November, my favourite number. Been studying Maths for a while now and I think I could make it this time round, the last grade I had for Maths was 7, so close to passing. Social Studies on the same day too and I've been reading up a few chapters, hopefully the ones that would appear in the question paper, lol.

Well, ya, bored at home now, nothing else to do besides studying really. To make things worse, I may be having an assignment in my ITE school and if I don't attend, well, my marks will be deducted.

Well last week was fun, was at Punggol Park for Kevin's birthday party. Everyone was chatting around, talking about soccer and drinking lol. etc. Then later we all took pictures with one another and of course pose for funny ones, lol Riki jumped on me in one of them. Left at around 1.40 am I think, with Khairul (yea I know, lol starting to use colours all). We decided to walk to Hougang plaza first and take a taxi from there, but then we changed our minds and walked from Hougang Plaza all the way back to Sengkang, Lol. Although the walk was long, it was rather fun, talked about stuff all the way.

My mum went to the newly launched Vivo City and she said it was a huge place, had tons of shops and she walked till she was tired (shoppers usually don't experience that, especially women, lol). She brought home some chocolate chip cookies from the Candy Empire shop at Vivo and some tea biscuits from Marks and Spencers, lol, not bad, two great shops. Well, I guess I will go pay a visit to Vivo City after my dreaded O level exams.

Another good thing to talk about is Liverpool's splendid 3-1 victory over the unbeaten Aston Villa after having lost miserably in the hands of the Mancs. Peter Crouch scores once again and this time with a superb technique shot from outside the box. I just can't wait for the return clash when Man United face Liverpool at Anfield.

A fun day

Well, today I had my O level science practical exam and it seems easy ( don't wanna jinx it). I was stuck at the Physics part at first but later I understood the whole thing, just made one mistake which I realised later after the exam. As for the Chemistry part, it was surprisingly straight forward. Every question was like 1 mark and that would mean I just have to put a short answer. So there is possibility passing this one, lol I can feel it.

Came back home from Sengkang Sec where I had my exam, lol came home in like just 3 minutes as the school is just behind my house, just had to cross a road. Went bowling later with Desmond, Noah and Dominik and it was fun, although I had one of my worse ever games lol!. Lol, there was one point where I was supposed to wait for the machine to pick up the pins as before that was Noah's turn. Instead of waiting, I thought it was already my turn and I just threw the ball. As the ball was going, the machine was coming down to collect the pins! Lol, the ball then hit the machine and it started rolling backwards and slowly all the way back to me!, ahahh that was freakin funny, should have video taped it!

After bowling at Kovan, we came back to Hougang as we thought the rest were playing soccer, lol but they were playing cards instead. Ok my aunty just called me to watch WWE on tv and she said that Vito(the guy always in the skirt) just won again, Lol. We played soccer later at the street soccer court and slacked later with Riki, Sam, Cheeks and Ajit and it was damn funny. Lol, we were talking about how wierd the people around Cheek's area were. Well, this was about it, really was a nice day. Damn, I need to get my Literature book fast! the days are passing by fast now. Alright, I'll write again soon.

Cool day

Hey. At Hougang Plaza now in the cyber cafe and watching Khairul blogging Live! We just came back from Milenia Walk. Well, the three of us, Desmond, Khairul and myself just thought of hanging out and it was kinda fun I must say. The atmosphere was nice and it was so crowded like in Orchard Road or like Far East Plaza where we can see teenagers almost everywhere.

As we were strolling by the many shops in Milenia, me and Khairul were thinking of what we'll buy and how much we will spend if we were rich and well with our girlfriends, lol!. We stopped at Candy Empire to have a look around at the cool candies and chocolates. Looking at all the goodies, I just couldn't resist but buy something there lol, so I bought a small bar of chocolate. It was that Freddo chocolate, don't find those everywhere. It was small but it costs $1.50. Lol, later we went there again and again I bought the same bar of chocolate. We had our dinner at Long John Silvers and after an hour or so, headed back home.

This outing wasn't really planned at all, we just thought of going out just like that and thats what made it fun.
Oh well, Mother Tongue O levels exam this Wednesday and I'm really looking forward to it, just wanna get over with it so that I can concentrate on the rest. Aiming for a B, I just hope the composition questions will be easy ones as my only threat is the composition paper not the written paper.

Woah! , exams near!

Haven't been blogging for a while but now I'm back. Well, yesterday was sort of a long day. Went to Seoul Garden in Tampines Mall for my lunch and as always it made me full, although I didn't eat much this time, felt that I've not used up the full amount I've spent eating there, but its alright. On my way back, Desmond sms-d ( lol, is this the correct term?) me if I wanted to eat at the 309 coffeeshop near the soccer court. I said ok even though I was full lol, well I need to put on some weight and this is the best way to right? We were having a kick-around with Khairul's classmates at the street soccer court and so we ate first before playing. Lol, ate pork rice for the first time and it was nice, although I had a tough time gettin it down cos of the Seoul Garden trip earlier.

Later while playing soccer, I couldn't run fast at all! , my stomach was too full and I got tired very easily. Well in the end, I think our team of Khairul, Desmond, Noah, Dominik and myself won Khai's mates with Desmond scoring lots of goals. Lol, well I got some myself =p lol. After all this, we slacked for a while and eventually planned to have our dinner at Rivervale Plaza KFC.
We left like around 11 plus. Starworld sure was fun to watch yesterday with all the funny shows startin from 11.30pm like My Wife And Kids, Yes Dear and Everybody Loves Raymond. Coincidentally, all these 3 shows were about lying! ahah Desmond and I discovered this.

Alright I'll end here for now, gonna leave to meet Desmond and Khairul to go to Marina I think, to catch a movie and play bowling. I'll write back soon.
