Hi, haven't blogged for quite a while. Well this month has been okay , did my school preliminary exams and, I think I can do alright, accept for Math and Science, especially Math which was so hard, the other subjects were not really a problem. Punjabi O level exams closing in on the 12 of October. Really have to revise through. Besides exams and all, been having fun playing soccer with my friends and playing block catching, which may sound childish but sure is fun. Some of us never played the game when we were younger so why not. Its quite hard to catch the runners because they have an entire block to run and hide in. Well thats the month so far, I'll return with more posts.
~Bye~Have a nice day : )
Hi, haven't made a post for a while. I've been having mixed feelings for the whole week, its quite hard to explain. Been playing soccer for the past few days with my friends and it has been fun all the way, but I also have to put aside some time for studying as my prelim examinations are next week. It may not sound big of a deal but I just have to do my best so that I can have higher hopes of getting through the O levels. Just gonna put aside all thoughts of last year as I was wasting my time. This time I really got to make it.
Was watching tennis on Wednesday while waiting for a call from Khairul so that I can leave to meet him to go out to town. It was rather lucky for me to catch the tennis match as it was really an exciting match. Kim Clijsters vs Venus Williams. I support Kim Clijsters and was hoping she can win the match. She was losing 4-2 when she came back from behind to win the set 6-5. If that wasn't good enough , she later trashed Venus 6-1 in the final set. Clijsters was very determined and fought all the way to the end and eventually all her hard work paid off. Well thats something I can learn from. In fact the match made the whole day for me much better.
Khairul and I then we on our way to Funan mall to buy ourselves soccer shoes and they had to be Adidas ones. When we reached there, we headed to Sportslink and had a look around. There wasn't really a wide selection of Adidas shoes available but I then spotted one nice shoe. I didn't really care if the shoe is fancy or not, all I wanted to do was buy an Adidas shoe. In fact, it was the only shoe with my foot size available. Khairul was interested in one of the shoes but then decided to skip and I decided to buy mine first. I paid just $22 although the original price was $69 as I had some discount vouchers with me and a 25% discount card too.
It was then time for Khairul to get his shoe and believe it or not , we went to 3 Adidas shops and none of them had Keru's foot size, the biggest they had was only 10 0r 9. After some walking, we then came upon a shop names Stadium and there Khairul bought his shoes. Khairul's shoe was nice and its the same one David Beckham uses or Feckham haha. I liked my shoe too. After that we decided to head back to Hougang.
I was too excited and decided to wear my shoes on the first day to try it out. Everything went well,I'm satisfied with my shoes and I had a fun time. But for now, I just seem to have that mixed feeling thing, maybe I miss something or someone? I don't know myself.
~Bye~
:)
