Great match today.

Boy it sure was a great soccer match today. We took on Iggy's team at a field in Bishan. At first we were short of players and most of them were very tired and injured, but later eveyone came and we had like 15 players, we thought only 9 were coming. The match started off ok, we had let in a goal and it was 1-0 due to a corner. Rishi then broke the deadlock by scoring a great goal and soon, things were looking good until one of the oposition players took a long range shot and it ended up in the back of our net. So it was 2-1 in the first half.
In the second half, things went worse for us, we had let in a goal when Sam, our keeper, failed to catch the ball as the ground was bumpy and it just bounced off his hands. Things were hard for us from there and suddenly the same thing happened again and we were down at 4-1!, but then we fought back hard and got a goal and another and another , lol, the score was 4-4. We then made the score 5-4 thanks to Kevin. We were on our way to victory when Sara made a defensive error by not clearing the ball in time and the oponents scored a goal. Well its not right to blame Sara fully as he had been playing good all the while. The game then moved on to penalties where we lost at sudden death :( Lol, although we lost, it was a brilliant comeback in such a small space of time!
Well, now I'm back home and feeling very tired. Feel bad for Dalvin as he wanted to play in today's match but because of a wrist injury he couldn't. Well it happened while we were playing at the soccer court two days back. He took a hard shot and I blocked it by trying to clear it away, but the ball deflected off my leg and hit him hard in the hand. Well, although it wasn't any sort of foul, I feel its my fault. Now its hard for him to write cos the wrist injury is on his right hand, which he uses for writing and his exams are near. :( sorry Cheeks!, get well soon...
Gonna watch Miami Vice with Kevin and all tommorow in the morning like at 11.30 am, but before that I think I'm gonna study with Riki. Well, still got lots to study for the O levels but definately more confident in passing this time. Staying up late now as there's a Liverpool match to watch. I'll just end here for today, will write back soon.
